What is Junkr?
Junkr is an online platform connecting you with local, verified haulers to easily remove unwanted items from your property. We provide a secure system for scheduling and processing payments, ensuring a smooth and reliable junk removal experience.
How does Junkr work?
Simply schedule a pickup using our form, providing details and photos of the items. We'll assign a Junkr Hauler for your pickup and will contact you to confirm and complete the job at your scheduled time.
What types of items do you pick up?
We accept most standard household items, furniture, appliances, electronics, yard waste, construction debris, and general junk. However, hazardous materials (like chemicals, asbestos, oil, paint, etc.) cannot be picked up through our service.
Do I need to upload pictures?
While not strictly mandatory, uploading clear pictures significantly helps us make sure we can provide the best service possible. Photos often convey details that are hard to describe in text. Providing as much visual information as possible leads to the best experience for both you and the hauler.
How soon can I schedule a pickup?
You can request same day pickups! When a hauler provides a quote for your requested time slot, it means they are available. If they cannot meet your exact time, they may propose an alternative time within their quote details for your consideration. Lastly, if for some reason we are unable to accomodate your request, we will contact you to discuss alternative options, such as providing a refund.
Do I need to be present for the pickup?
It's highly recommended that the person who scheduled the pickup, or the property owner, be present. This ensures the correct items are removed and allows for immediate confirmation. After the job is done, the scheduler needs to confirm completion through their Junkr account to finalize the process and payment release for the hauler.
What happens if I forget to add an item I wanted removed?
The price you pay is based on the items listed in your original request. Haulers are not obligated to remove items not included in the schedule. However, you can discuss any additional items directly with the hauler when they arrive; they may agree to remove them, potentially for an additional fee, at their discretion.
